Washington on the Brazos State Park Volksmarch

Washington on the Brazos was where Sam Houston and others signed the Texas Declaration of Independence. It was the first capital of the Republic of Texas. It became a state park in 1916. Part of the state park is Barrington Farm which was the home of the Republic of Texas' last President - Anson Jones.
